The person involved is a transgender man (female to male) who has retained his female sexual organs. The pregnancy is carried out using frozen donor eggs. It is said that his partner is unable to conceive because of medical conditions, so he took over her role.
This report made me think about certain issues about gender in society. When the child is born, will the man be called "Daddy" or "Mummy"? In the bible, we were told of specific roles of man/woman, however the lines are now blurring. How do we, as Christians, view this and educate our kids? We will be facing more and more of such issues and we need to take to ponder because we will be future parents soon.

Reminds me of what Rev Hong told me last time: Marriage is abt husband/wife/god. Cannot take any one of this out of the equation =)
