......in S'pore. Yesterday when taking the bus found my ezlink card spoilt, have to pay 90 cents for a two-stop bus ride!!! Ever since they increased the price for movie tickets (10 dollars to watch shows in the weekend),I have been staying away from the cinema even though I am a avid movie goer. To me, watching a movie at the cinema has become a luxury. I also found myself going to the ATM more often to draw money, as 50/60 dollars seem to be buying a lot less things nowadays......
If people like us are feeling the pinch, how about those who are less well-off? It is reported that rising food prices are driving more people in Singapore to join the queue for free meals. i guess we will have to put cheesecakes on hold now that prices of everything are going up? With more chessecakes might mean more money spent on bringing cholestrol lowering medications? How about Carrot Cake with more black sauce? :p
