The PLA (People Liberation Army) has moved into the affected areas for rescue operations. Heard from news that death toll has reached 15,000. It was reported that in Wen Chuan Province, which has a population of 100,000, 60,000 vanished overnight.
The mild-mannered Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao was reported to have slammed the phone on officials as rescue operations were not going fast enough because of bad weather / destruction of roads due to earthquake
My bro showed me the picture below and asked me why "gods allow children to suffer". Rescuers were seen pulling out dead bodies of young children. I thought he was upset and thus I never answer him. What would you guys answer if your friends or family members ask u the same question?
